Until a smart phone gets some sort of 15"+ expandable screen and a full keyboard I can actually type on, I won't use one.

Done. One of the android variants coming from HTC has HDMI out. You can now hook that bad boy up to your existing monitor (or tv). Since it has bluetooth you can also use a BT keyboard and mouse.

In other words, all you have to do is plug in a monitor cable, plop your phone on the desk and you've got a PC about as capable as circa 1999 desktops. Plenty for Grandma to read email and surf the web.

More capable really. Android is a slick and fairly open platform. My only hope is that it kicks the trash out of the iphone, and that people start realizing how nice it is to be able to do whatever you want with your phone (without fear of bricking it)

....oh well when you have been working on 3D applications with Intel hardware for a while I can understand the lack of depth perception....or is that con-fusion?
