If you did, an AMD fanboy would bite your face off. I believe an asterisk would be useful, because depending on how you game, it might not affect you. V-sync has shown to fix it, though many people don't consider v-sync viable, but others do.

Tom's thinking that the 660 Ti = 7870 is a joke.

They've proved they aren't equal with their article comparing the two cards in cf/sli.

Even in games where AMD has an advantage like Hitman/Tomb Raider the 660 Ti's blow the 7870s away.

In other titles the 660 Ti can equal even a 7970GE.

It's pretty clear that the 7950 is the closest AMD card to the 660 Ti. Whether it is closer to the old 7950 or the Boost version is the only question.

I think between AT Bench, TPU and TH it should be more or less settled. It isn't a perfect picture but it's as close as you're going to get without a 3 page discussion.

I was so disappointed with Tri Sli 680s that i got Tri fire 7950s and i must say it is a great improvement

Tri sli 680s @ 1220mhz / + 350mem x 2 one 1350mhz/+500 Mem Vs Tri fire 7950s at 1225mhz/1600 mem in every game i play the 7950s are walking all over the 680s.

But the 600 series has some advantages Heat power use Nvidia drivers are more stable etc.

HD7000 Wins in raw performance and price. Which if ur mining bitcoins HD7000 cards are free.
