Nvidia 91.33 beta drivers better then 91.31s IMHO

Normally I stick with official drivers, but after the few bugs that appeared in official 91.31s like the pop SLI message(yes I know I posted a fix for this), however with the 91.33 drivers the taskbar icon stays disabled too when you have it disabled in CP even after reboot.

So far not found any problems with these in gaming or with the control panel, nice to have everything working like it should(unlike the 91.31s).Yes I did use Driver Cleaner,I always do with drivers.

This driver is being distributed by NVIDIA as an official beta. ForceWare Release 90 Version: 91.33 Release Date: June 29, 2006 BETA driver.

Single-GPU Issues Resolved

* GeForce 7950 GX2: Blue-screen crash occurs when running 3D Mark 06 with an Intel i955XBK motherboard.

SLI Technology Issues Resolved

* GeForce 6 and 7 Series: Added an SLI profile for Prey.
* NVIDIA Control Panel: ?SLI multi-GPU rendering has been
* disabled? pop-up message appears on non-SLI capable systems.
* NVIDIA Control Panel: The digital display cannot be set to its native
* resolution when the analog display is set as the primary display
* under nView Clone or Spanning modes.
* NVIDIA Quadro FX 5500: With four monitors connected, from the
* NVIDIA Control Panel->Workstation->Synchronize Displays page,
* the server cannot be set.

Do they save the game profiles as well? In all of the other 9x.xx series or drivers they would never save game profiles. I like to to have 8xAF in Oblivion and when I go and force it in the Oblivion profile, it never would save. I tried other games to, and nothing ever saves. Is this fixed?

Are you working with a non-admin account? I noticed that I neither can make or change any game profiles under a non-admin account - which is pretty pathetic.

I can't really tell the difference too much with the 91.31's and the older ones I was using, I usually upgrade as soon as new ones come out so I guess the IQ and performance gains don't shock me as they are slow steps.

mem, you are god...thanks for this beta driver! now that pesky sli crap can be turned off...on my 6600GT AGP!!

SOunds as though nvidia *STILL* haven't fixed their ongoing profile bug. You have to seriously wonder if they sacked the driver programmers and a troop ofinstalled typewriter weilding monkeys in their place...

secretanchitman:Hehe np,makes you wonder how the buggy 91.31s got WHQL approved, goes to show that means nothing.
