Nvidia 6800 OC Question. TV-Out Quality?

My brother has a nvidia 6800 OC video card. He currently has a Dell CRT monitor. But he's asking for a second monitor. He wants to use dual-monitors or something. But I was wondering, how good is the quality on that video card for it's s-video tv-out port? I was thinking... It'd be awesome if I suprised him and got him a tv to use for his computer, so that he can also watch tv and play video games on it too.

Is the quality good enough for a tv? What kind should I buy? Thanks!

Although nVidia has made a lot of progress in the TV-Out department, ATI is still superior... But nonetheless, the quality will be good too... Go to BestBuy and pick yourself a cheap one...

With CRT televisions, the problem will be that with a low resolution, the font will have to be made quite big. In my experience, it is only really useful to watch movies on.

Another monitor would work much better through the spare DVI port.
