I just downloaded 65.73 WHQL Drivers from Guru3D, the performance in doom3 is up with IQ, but there is a thing, the application profile for Doom3 is already made but it integrates it self with doom.exe while doom3.exe is the real executable file, when I tried to modify it, that application profile got ascocited with both doom.exe & doom3.exe,

Is this doom.exe a bug in the drivers, or if I set my own quality settings in doom.exe it will take place & change. Using XP SP1 with FX5900XT

I also made a new profile named d3 & selected doom3.exe, it is working, but I want to know how can I find if there is a conflict between my made profile & nvidia given profile
 
See if it works with the origonal profile. Maybe it still works and the name is just not represented correctly.
 
You might be able to change the name in the profile in the registry. Search for doom.exe in the registry and fiddle with that.
 
I checked for doom.exe & found nothing, made another profile executed & doom3 doesn't works anymore, revarting back to Official 61.77

Lessson = Never use Beta or non official drivers
