Nvidia showed off a 3090Ti card at CES. No details on spec, price, or release date. Just an FYI in case anyone here was interested.

Oh look, a slightly binned or overclocked 3090 with slightly faster memory that's 12% faster than a 3090. Let's raise the price by 50%+ like we did for the 3070 ti and 3080 ti cards for a marginal increase in performance because reasons.

The 3070 and 3080 cards were priced when the market wasn't completely sideways like quickly became. The prices on those Ti cards were as much of a reflection that miners were going to pay double or more MSRP for a lot of cards.

If a high-end card is already going to cost $$$$, may as well get that extra 12%.

Single sided GDDR6X should be nice, especially if there's some head room on mem overclocking and temps are more reasonable than with 3090s.

Those FE cards are kinda meh. If there are good versions from Nvidia partners, it could be nice, especially if the memory tech and cooling is improved over previous models. Though unlikely to be a worthy upgrade for anyone with an RX 6800 or better.

It probably has the same performance as the current higher end AIB 3090s, since any improvement would just come from the power limit. The new gen is also supposed to come out this year, so this card seems even more pointless.

I wonder if these will be FHR or LHR. Even if these are FHR, I don't see them being as good as regular 3090s for mining, as the extra cores are doubtful to help, at least with ETH, and these are likely to cost more, so longer ROI.
