These drivers rock, 3D glasses doesnt install now, no need for it, and it gives you option to install it upon reboot after driver install. IF you have glasses do it if you dont just cancel.

very cool 3D visision is out of the way for peep that dont care about it.

I tested some games things are smooth and fast as usual, Seems even faster.. good stuff. gg and gb

Do you mean 3D surround is bugged?

He means 3D Vision, from what I can decipher, he says 3D Vision is now not installed forcibly upon installation of new drivers, instead you have the option of installing 3D Vision later after the driver is installed ("after reboot"). I think he was trying to warn people with glasses not to panic that the installation method/procedure for 3D Vision was altered.

I am not vouching for the accuracy of any of the above information, and I currently have a 4770 and have no experience with 3D Vision, I don't think I've ever run into it with my old 8600 GTS. I only translated what I could from his OP.

From what I can tell these are just the 3D Vision drivers? You don't need them if you don't have 3D.

The 3D vision is optional install. After you install drivers,, it reboots and the installation of geforce 3D vision starts,, I canceled that , and your done. Its a 312mb file, gg and gg some more,,

yes, plus no mods have posted anything on this thread.

maybe it was Agent Smith.

It was probably Jason, given today's date.

So does anyone have any real info on the drivers? Faster? Slower? Old bugs fixed or new bugs released?

Well, there was a brief outage/downtime, right? Both the main site and forums. Maybe it was connected... some of the most recent posts before the downtime (or was it immediately after?) got lost somehow.

From the link in the OP (which I now just clicked), it seems to be just the 3D Vision drivers, not the "real" video card drivers which will make starcraft II and other games faster.

Just leave the guy alone. We all know with his condition that he might just be using computers as a social outlet or just something to talk about.

Even though we disagree on almost everything, I don't mind his posts and so shouldn't you. Just another one of us interested in hardware.

Mmk?

These are drivers jvroig,,, you install them and youll see the same screen you always seen when installing drivers.. These are drivers their 312MB

Now 3D Vision is not installed by default.. .YOu have option to cancel it and not install it, this is after a reboot after installing these drivers

3 more posts until 1000 tweakboy! Stay on target!

As for the drivers, doesn't look really useful for me, because i use a 5870. Though I do have a 260 on the other comp.

The real question is why they just don't offer a download just for the right drivers you want in the first place.

Ah, I suppose you are right. That's rather confusing, with the page labeled 3D Vision and all. Oh well, not like I can check it out, my nV card is in the other machine.

Thanks, Tweakboy, congrats on the 1000th post btw, gl, gg, gb america
