nvdia 81.95 drivers released with newer updates

81.95 updated 12/9/05. has anyone used it yet? please report your results.

question: would all my profiles/settings be lost once i update to a newer driver? i also use coolbits for o/c. sorry need to ask this dump question since i'm new to nvidia g/c (ex ati user ;))

well i upgraded to it, and its been working fine. I havent lost any of my customizations either. :)

You can copy nvapps.xml from c:\windows\system32 prior to changing drivers, or you can use nHancer which will backup the file for you when the drivers change.

what about coolbits? how would i re-enable it once upgraded to newer driver to restore my o/c setting? thx to all replies.

I installed these after using Driver Cleaner in safe mode,anybody with 2 monitors connected to their Nvidia card getting 5 monitors yes 5 appear in Device Manager?

Anyway I uninstalled the other 3 and they came back after reboot,so only option was to disable those 3 in Device Manager.

Works fine. Coolbits is compatible, you'll just have to re-register it after installing the new drivers.
