What sarcasm?

In less than the time it took you to create this thread you could have just googled it yourself.

It's made blatantly obvious what "nvcpl" is by the first few links.

if you have clicked on the first link, you would know that it doesn't tell you anything.

You could've found detailed information about it easily enough. I believe the process is the NVidia display control panel. I have a GeForce FX 5200 and it is the configuration tool for it. I think it also has some management on different display 'favorites.' I don't find it incredibly useful, though.

Yes it does. It gives you a good clue as to what it is.

But wait, look a few links down and you'll find a page which states:

"NvCpl or NvCplDaemon-rundll32.exe NvCpl.dll, NvStartup Intializes the clock and memory settings on nVidia based graphics cards. Disable if you don't overclock your card."

:Q Isn't that interesting?

Here, I'll save you the 15 seconds it takes to google this:

nvcpl.dll is used by ATI to adjust your sound volume in control panel.

Me too, normally. His getting snapped at over the whole thing prompted my previous answer.

Ok, better answer than mine. I just made some crap up. Look closely at my last post. Who ever heard of ATI using an nVidia library for a sound card? :p

I believe that was the first link when I googled it.
