NV6600 GT problem w/ my Shuttle

have a SB61G2 V3, and I just bought a BFGTech NV 6600GT OC. I installed the card and tried to boot up, but my card's fan won't turn on. There is no VGA output on the screen either. The mobo and the DVDrom both have power, but I don't think the card does. I run a 3.0 GHz P3, 1 GB DDR400 RAM, DVDrom, 2x 80GB HDs, NV ti4200.
 
known problem with AGP 6600gt's

Try taking off the power connector from the video card and then start the system.. it should work, but clock speeds may be lower
