very astute, I had not thought of that till you mentioned it. teh 6 pin requires two 4 pin molex, jsut as the original es 6800 ultras.
 
That's really stupid.
How can both cards need dual connectors when PCI-Express gives more power itself.
Surely it would reduce the power requirements of the cards and allow them to use only one connector?
Unless the cards aren't exactly the same...?
(Would the 50MHz clock increase be enough? The 6800GT seems to be able to reach 400MHz+ on 1 molex)
