They ALWAYS claim sh!t like this before they release a card. Watch, when it's released, you'll gain a BIG 10fps over their last card.

I've fallen for this crap waaaaay too long. The ONLY time I've seen a video card make a HUGE leap in performace over the previous version was the 9700 Pro. Now THAT card packed a punch when it came out. I REALLY hope I'm wrong this time about nVidia's new card, but I know I'll be right. 🙁

Yeah, as a for profit company they should always tell the exact truth about their product no matter what it does to sales. You obviously work for the Magic Fairy Company that makes profits no matter what they say about their products Nikilesh.

Supposedly there are 500 NV40 samples making the rounds. Probably only at half speed, but they should be a decent indication of where final performance will be. So there are people who can make reasonably factual claims about NV40. Problem is, they're probably all under NDA. 🙂
