Anyone notice the similarities in the vagueness of the NV35 texture statement with the continued debate over the NV30 with 8x1 or 4x2 or 'custom' or whatever.

Notice it doesn't say, 8 texture pipelines with 2 textures per pass, it says "up to" 16 textures per rendering pass. This seems like a similar situation as the NV30. Has this issue been resolved with the NV30? Maybe I am out of the loop...

That's a good point, I wonder why they continue to be vague about it when everyone kinda got on their case about it with the NV30.
