NV30 - name guessing contest

The NV30, some people say it is gonna be called OMEN, some Geforce5. But, remember when nVidia did a contest for the naming of NV10 (Geforce256), if they did a contest for NV30, what would you call it? I Remembered a roadmap on nVidia graphics chips right up from NV1 to NV30 plus specs and capabilities. This was on 3DGPU.com some two years ago and i noticed specs for NV30 quoting over 300million polys a sec and a name of... DREAMFORCE 1. I also noticed the specs for NV25 and NV20 with rumored names of GF3 and GF4. the specs were about the same as the Ti200 and Ti4200 and that was two YEARS ago.... interesting.:Q
 
I got this from an ultra secret source which I cannot reveal the name of but apparently, they are thinking of naming it...


The Geforce XP!
 
I know no one here will actually believe this but I won the official first GeForce naming contest about 3-4 years ago and won a 64 MB Quadro before the GeForce's were even out on the market. So you can tell all your friends that you're old pal Snatchface from AT named the GeForce line.
 
Since the NV30 will use 3DFX's technology inside of it, I was thinking that the GEFDOO (Geforce +Voodoo) might sound pretty nice. (Better than GEFORCE 5)
 
Hmmmm, "DeathByDuke" has only 15 posts. Wanna bet he works for NV marketing? Hey, dude, they pay you the big bucks so you really ought to do your own work. 😉
 
Well its known for a fact that the card will not be called the Geforce 5, this has been stated on many sites, like Xbitlabs and The Inquirer. Its because the NV30 is supposadly going to be a card based on new and 'revolutionary' tech.😉

Anyway, If I was to name it, I call it the BongForce.
 
Hmmm...I would guess it would have to do with something big, fast, or explosive. Hence TNT, GeForce, etc. My guess would be the nVidia Raptor or XForce.

However, the nVidia GeString would definitely turn some heads. 😛 😀
 
Well my idea for naming the GF3 didn't pan out (they called it a...GF3). So the idea is still good. Here goes: I would call it Thunderlips.
