NV 310.xx driver, defaults to 1920x1080, even on 1200P monitors?

WTF is this? I installed the newest NV drivers last night for my new Palit GTX460 2GB card. I have it connected via HDMI to my KDS 26" 1920x1200 LCD.

I've never had this happen before, but when I installed the driver, it defaulted to 1920x1080, which looks wierd and distorts images on this monitor. I had to go in manually and set the resolution up to 1920x1200.

Why did NV break monitor defaults, instead, suggesting that 1920x1080 is the "best" resolution. NV drivers suck.

Didnt do that on my Dell 2407fpw. Nor on my Dell 2713Hm for that matter.

Never heard about KDS as a monitor manufactor before.

This is for a HP monitor but it seems there is a page in the drivers where you can check 1200p as an available resolution.

Never mind, it seems you are just complaining about having to change the resolution manually.

I'm not seeing any issues with my 24" 1920x1200 monitor hooked up over DisplayPort. So I second the suggestion that this may be an HDMI issue.
