I don't look down on Australians, I rather envy their life style sometimes (apart from the millions of things that try to kill them on a day to day basis).

I don't look down on Americans either, I rather respect their belief that the individual is king and should be respected.

But you do. A British subject I worked with in Afghanistan told me that once and a British actress said something similar on one of our talk shows earlier this year.

There are very strict privacy laws in the UK that apply about any personal information, not medical information specifically.

There aren't specific laws about medical information, but the healthcare regulatory bodies do treat breach of confidentiality very seriously.

The nurse that blabbed will lose her nursing licence for life. Guaranteed. Not so clear what the role of the dead nurse was.
