number of topics per page

With this update is there no way to change the default option of 30 topics per page? I know with the old forum you could but there isn't an option for it now. Yes I mean topics and not posts within a topic.
 
There is a way to change it in the options to 100 topics per page.... but when I do switch that it still doesn't work.

Any help?

I believe you are seeing the 100 posts per page setting.



I would also like a setting for topics.

But can you up it globally? I'd like to see 100, but if that overloads the servers too much I can probably live with 60 or so.
 
The feature does exist actually. I have to check it out on my own forum but I know it's there because I've used it before.

No, "actually", it does not. Threads per page can be changed globally, but not per user. At least not in the stock VB.

I know it is a highly desired option, and its on my list to investigate. We cannot just use any plugin we want on a site this size. Very few of them have been tested on sites our size. Have patience - we just launched. I have higher priorities (i.e. search).
