Number 8 is on its way.

I involuntarily drank about a half-gallon of water immediately after seeing this thread. (I've also had issues with kidney stones, wouldn't wish that pain on my worst enemy...)

My wife had one of those last week. Luckily it passed in about 8 hours. This was her forth one in about 6 years. I hope I never have to go through that.

Go to the VA and wait while illegals get help before you.

you know you wanna...

And if you are lucky they will bring their army of children and let them run around and scream in the waiting area so that you get a massive headache and want to gut yourself with the broken glass from the cell phone you are about to shatter on the ground.

why do you keep getting these? something's got to stop them.

Like head lice or the common cold, medicine hasn't come up with a surefire way to stop kidney stones yet AFAIK. You can take precautions like drinking lots of water but that doesn't always work.

You know...if you'd just go to the local dive bar and let yourself get roofied...if you're lucky you'll wake up the next morning in the tub problem free! 😀

Indeed, I have met soldiers that have been shot, they say that they would gladly feel the pain of getting shot again over another kidney stone.

Get well soon, Shorty!

I had no idea such a tiny object could cause such intense - unending pain. I almost vomited on the way to the hospital from it. Only laying on the floor made it slightly better* Only my first but I was told there would be more to come. (And, it being my first, I had no idea what the fuck was wrong with me)

Hope it passes quickly for you Shorty!

*Laying on the floor of the ER will get you seen quicker than sitting down

omg, im holding my dong right now. hurts just reading it. so you stones come out the front???

Where else would they come out?

I've had kidney stones. Twice. Used to drink nothing but soda and all kinds of other crap. No more. Water or something other than soda. And trying to eat better also. You never want to go through something like it. Everyone looks at you in the emergency room while your curled over in pain sweating profusely and throwing up, but they just don't know...

So are these calcium or uric acid stones? Assuming calcium? Uric acid stones are treatable... can take Allopurinol to reduce the production of acid in your body...

Uric acid stones run in my family... allopurinol has resolved it for each of us so far. And yeah, wouldn't wish that kinda pain on anyone... hope yours passes soon!
