arghhh.. I hate remakes! It's usually worse than the original. I loved the original and don't see how they can improve it.

It's worth watching again. The first one is a lot better than the second one.
 
I have the DVD of the original. It is one of my favorite family movie. There is absolutely NO REASON for a remake of this. Better technology today (ie computer animation). Well, okay, but the FX used in the original is more than adequate to convey the story.

Another :thumbsdown: to Hollywood.

Short Circuit 2 was awesome!!!!

One was good too. And the fact taht it was realistic without all the CG crap made it even funner to watch. Invariably they will do CG and try to dazzle the audience with visual effects that can't be done in real life, but I like the original. The robot was cool too.
