What's the point of keeping it if we aren't going to use it? I wish everyone would dispose of it because it would be better off that way. It not like we're going to nuke some Alien who come to visit us from other planet or are we? I think it pretty useless anyway, because the nukes only harms us and not them Alien invader.

It's supposed to be a deterrent.

They were talking about biowarfare on the nightly news and I was thinking...if those bastards would drop that stuff on us, that would be enough reason to start dropping the nukes over there.

The nuclear powers know that if full blown nuclear war is waged there won't be much left of any participating country. Nobody wants to start that, so everybody treads lightly.

Bottom line is we have used them, & probably will use them again. The longer it is before that day the better, but I have no doubt we will see nuclear weapons utilized in our lifetimes.

We have them for protection against other countries that also have them(eg Russia, China), and other countries (Iraq, Pakistan, India, etc) which are trying to or are developing..
Why won't they destroy theirs? We won't destroy ours... Why won't we destroy ours? They won't destroy theirs... Also, they could claim to have destroyed theirs, and still have them, us destroy ours, and then they start launching them on us, knowing we don't have any...

I think we need to get of rid of it and then wipe then clean out of people mind so they don't develop this kind of stuff, like brainwash them or something. Scientist like Einstein is actually quite Evil. His invention are put to bad use and I mean, really bad as in kill everyone in the end. As long as their is nukes, I fear that we're all going to die. Where will we go from here? Nothingless in cosmic space dust? Maybe, we'll all get to meet god by then, hehe, if there is a god, but we'll never know for sure, will we?

Biological weapons would give the U.S. and her Allies plenty of reason to use any and all force.

As for getting rid of nukes, it won't and shouldn't happen, it's the best defense we have.
