Yesterday i ordered the parts for my new computer.

I was wonder....do i need to buy a floppy drive to install my sata drive?
or will my motherboard recognize the drive and make my life simpler?
your knowledge will be a great help to me...plz help
 
the mobo will recognise it, its windows that doesnt. do you have a copy of windows xp with SP2 or without sp2? if you have sp2 it will be fine, if not, you need a floppy, or there are some other ways to do it, someone else can fill me in, i forgot.
 
is it easy to oc my processor to 2.2???
i read the link about overclocking, cant understand it.

I would seriously reconsider that Motherboard and Hardrive. You should not have gotten expensive RAM and stuff cheap "essential parts".

But you don't need a floppy unless you need to load some sort of RAID or SCSI drivers.

Whether or not that processor will overclock will depend on your motherboard's overclocking features. If your sure it has good ones, then yes, that chip is guaranteed to go atleast to 2.4.
