I just got my Imac last week.
On my PC, I kept my (100% legal) mp3 files in C:\audio.
On the Mac, I was thinking about putting them in /Audio, but I don't know if this is a good idea.
One good thing about Windows, is that the only place files were typically installed was in C:\program files. With the Mac, I'm not so sure since I'm new to it. I don't want to make a directory that's going to get overwritten or conflict with applications or be a bad idea for other unforeseen reasons!
Also, I don't want to keep it within my user folder, because that's private and off limits. I want the Audio folder to remain above this directory.
