NTLDR Missing-whats that

I'm building the aforementioned (in another thread) athalon system for a friend. I installed windows on the hard drive on my computer, but now when I go to boot the other one, it says "NTLDR Missing, ctrl-alt-dlt to restart" or some such. Any idea what NTLDR is talking about?

Unless you have the exact same hardware configuration on yours and your friend's computers, installing windows on yours instead of your friend's will cause problems as the OS won't know what to do with the hardware it's suddenly supposed to run. Therefore, NTLDR (NT LoaDeR) can't load windows.

Reinstall windows from scratch on your friend's computer.
