Ok this is wierd to me.... I am trying to boot a fresh system on a KT7 Raid using a win98SE boot disk. I tried to install Win2000 and first got a "NOT HARD DRIVES" message . so I fugred I would try and boot using a win98 Boot DIsk, now I get NTLDR is missing? ANy Suggestions to any of the problems, starting to get a bit frustrated!! ?

whoa! I was just about to query the same problem...

I have a similar setup, w/Win2K.

Does anyone have a fix or idea of whats up?

The boot order is correct...... Floppy, ATA100raid then CDROM... The drives were formated using a Partition Magic Boot Disk and it has a 10 gig c: and 20 gig d: drive... I am real baffled now!!!! The partition magic boot disk works fine but the Win98 system disk (which I was trying to boot from for the cdrom support), still gives me those errors...

FUrther to above..

I am trying again, on the first 2K boot disk it asks you to push F6 to install second party Raid Drivers.. OK I am beating the crap out of F6 and its not doing anything, like prompting me for a disk?

This is turning into a regular SAGA, It asked me for the RAID drivers after the second disk and seems to be installing as expected. After the first reboot though on the OS menu it has two options, WIN 2000 and unidentified OS on drive c:, any ideas what to do about this so called UNKOWN operating system?
