I just installed a new mobo, but now i cant seem to get win2k or win98 to start up. The first time I started win2k after installing the new mobo i got a stop error. Now, it just says "NTldr is missing." DOes anyone know what this means? Im so frustrated right now. thanks in advance.

NTloader is missing, its broken, hope you backed everything up, or back to the old MoBo and then backup, if your lucky, and then re-install.

it basically means your win2k installation some how got hosed. Overclocking too hard maybe? 😉 Like shux says, try the old mobo first. If not, boot from the cd and try the repair option. If that doesn't work, you'll probably need to reformat.

with winnt, you can put in the cd and repair your boot files. should be able to do something similar with win2k...
