I have a computer with the NTLDR is missing error, but when I try to use boot disks or boot CDs, none work. Instead it will say "Strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utilities".
I have tried the ntldrfix boot disk and boot CD. I have also tried making a startup disk from a working xp computer. I also downloaded an xp home sp2 setup disk. The computer can't read any of the boot disks. Anyone know what's up?
