NTFS/FAT32

Yes and vice-versa - as long as you have WinNT/2K/XP installed you will be able to read/write to NTFS/FAT16/FAT32 partitions.

yeah.. you have to have winnt/2k/xp cuz im running win98 on a second partition and it wont recognize the ntfs winxp partition...

but winxp notices the fat32 one obviously 🙂

Thanks All!

That was just what I needed. (makes a clean (XP) install much less anxious if I know the XP will be able to read my second HD which will hold the old setup so I can retrieve the files I forget to back-up)

I'm running a upgraded XP setup right now and it seems great so far. If life stays good for a couple more weeks, I'll put it here for keeps. (gonna use every day of my free 30 to check this out first)
