NTFS Encription Question

Hi,

I read the following post:

If you use NTFS Encription, read this

I have one question before messing with my OS:

I have Win XP Pro installed, with NTFS. I have a 120Gb disk, partitioned in 20Gb(C🙂 + 100Gb(F🙂.

The reason I made these partitions was so that I can have all the trash on disk F, and I can latter format the C hard drive and reinstall all OS and sofware I use.

If I format disk C will I have that problem with encription? Will I be unable to access the F data?

Thanks

If you do not encrypt any of it you should not have a problem (as I understand it). Backing up the key wouldnt be a bad idea anyhow though.
