NT4 Server / Win2000 Pro compatibility

I am running a Win2000 Workstation in a house running a NT4 Server-run network. I can ping my server, router, and other systems on the network, and I can see the workgroup that all of the other computer are on, but if i try to access the group, I get the message "Plphouse is not accessible. The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available." On the server, you can see my computer, but can't access it, and all other workstations on the network can see my computer's name, but can not access it. Any help getting me on this network would be much appreciated.

Could be a "user/password/permissions issue" like obenton
said or if you have SP4 or lower running on your NT server I would install the latest SP6a. I'm not sure which SP it starts at, but if you don't have any SPs installed on NT you CAN'T see the files on 2000. Like I said, I don't know which SP supports it (I belive it is SP4 and above) because I went straight to SP6a. 😉
