In general I avoid Russian sites as sources for software. Also you are talking of theft.

Well, if it's a retail product that you can buy off the shelf, and you find if free on some site, it's commonly described as warez.

If you are really that worrried, just buy it. It's about $50-60 bucks for a very good program, and you don't have to worry too much about viruses.

I know this sounds very careless, but for two years now, I've downloaded anything and everything, from any kind of site, and have never encountered a virus.....if it's any constallation (spelling?) I'm download a program from that site now and will check if my computer goes bonkers

oh, and it's just a Russian hosted shortcut site, the site seems to be Icelandic......Icelandics are very nice people, so I wouldn't doubt the quality.....very nice programs btw, thanks! I've messaged you btw

EDIT: downloaded, installed, virus scanned, and ran SiSoft Sandra 2k with no problems
