When I run Norton SystemWorks 2003 full scan, it corrupts my boot.ini.
It changes the partition numbers so that it wont boot through to XP.
It gives me a ... can't find or corrupt hal.dll file. Reinstall hal.dll
I have 98SE and XP-Pro.
98SE still works.
I have to edit the multiboot.ini file and enter the correct number for the XP-Pro partition.
Then it works again.
