Can you see the distinctive bands of the rainbow, or is your degree of color deficiency at the point where you can't see bands of color, but rather just a sheet of color with varying intensity?

Truth be told, only in the most perfect rainbow can I see 7 bands, most often I only see 4. I don't know if other people would see more than I'm seeing or not. I think in some cases the rainbow is just too weak, other times a few colors blend almost seemlessly.

I know my level of color deficiency isn't terrible, never enough to make life a challenge, mostly it only gets pointed out when others are around. However, I will say that shopping for clothes can be a nightmare. I usually ask for one of the employees if I stumble.

But I've always wondered what it is like for people who have it bad.

And another thing I muse about on occasion: how long until a cure is developed (I'm betting on stem cell research leading to genetic therapy leading to fixing the eyes - the uptight morality/ethics crowd be damned if they get in the way of something I so badly want to see happen before I die)... and on that note, when such a cure is administered, would it be like a mellow drug trip that lasts for a few months?

I kid, there nothing there. (I'm not color blind. My eyes may have a lot of problems, but that isn't one of them.)

If by nothing you mean a an O then yes there is nothing there.

I saw it after posting, However, the colors for the 0 are pretty close to the surrounding colors, the only way I could pick it out was when I tilted my laptop screen and noticed that there was indeed a number there.
