NS Basic/Desktop - Low cost IDE

I was browsing and stubled onto NS Basic.. It's supposed to be a subset of VB. Looks pretty cool for the hobbyist and it's only ~$100 for a full single user license.
I have no clue how it stands up agains the Visual Studio Express Editions you can now download.

Just wanted to lwet you know.
