Is it possible to get 60fps avg in crysis with max settings at a lower res?

Nice work guys thats a very good card.

I checked out a few reviews.

In FC2 Hot hardware with 1920x1200 4xAA and 16x ansoi with penryn@ 3.2 averged 69.1

@ 2500x same setting they got 49 average.

Bit tech site used ic7 running at 3.7 luckily used same setting

1920x 87 average.

2500x 63 average.

So is crysis met its match?

I really like the size of this card! It's the same thing as a GTX 260/280 PCB. I don't have a SLI board and I'm not sure if my GTX 260 is enough for future gaming. Well I'm between this and the 4870X2 or just keep my GTX that I need to send for RMA.

Sorry, any and all benching I do is at my discretion. To do actual work like benching multiple cards at multiple settings, I want my Benjy-greens!

Haha... you've been around long enough that one would think you'd get it by now. Rollo doesn't care if you take him seriously... he's sharing his experience with the card. He's not doing a review, he not doing a comparison, he's not pushing nVidia's products, he's not bragging and he's not trying to make money by posting this information. If you'd like more information about his setup or would like to see some different test results, you could kindly ask if he could find time to provide the information you'd like to see rather than accuse him of being sloppy. As the saying goes... you'll catch more flies with honey...

well if he doesn't care, he doesn't care. i was pointing out that it is really not "benching" as he claims, without providing more information; at least i can get a decent idea of performance from Key's postings - his settings although not detailed are sufficient. OtoH, it is difficult for *me* to take Rollo's seriously as there are too many variables missing .. unless i am not following all the clues in the post and in his sig. If he is sharing, he is not sharing enough for me to follow. When i asked for more details on his HW/SW, i got a completely unrelated comment about not benching with multiple cards.

So since i started off on the wrong foot with him, why don't you ask politely and see if he will share his secrets ?
- or do you also not care?

if i was being rude by using the rather strong word "sloppy", then i am sorry i offended sensitive eyes
