[NOW with proof] I was paid $150 to play Bioshock.

I, too, remember being in awe of the opening sequence. Of course, it was on my 21" monitor and I didn't get paid to play it, but it was still pretty cool, nonetheless.

I playtested Mass Effect before it came out, but I just got a copy of Windows Vista for it. Now I just feel depressed.

Posts fake story about office shooting leading to old account being banned.

Excuse me if I made a mistake in identifying your old account.

Busted LOL.

So you got banned for BS before and have already posted one version of this story that differed in several very significant details. I presume you aren't going to try and claim that this story isn't BS as well at which point i'm going to take everything you post with a pinch of salt from now on.

Newsflash: It wasn't 1080p on a console.

360 launched in 2005.

PC was already better.

2K is known for publishing/distributing a lot of great stuff. As a PC gamer, you probably should have been playing Prey around then.

Bioshock is the spiritual sequel to System Shock, a classic PC game series.

Bioshock launched on PC too. Also, it was the spiritual sequel to System Shock, a PC exclusive.

So which one was it? PS3 or 360? A range of 30-35" HDTVs, or specifically 40"? Did you or did you not die in an office shooting? You never responded to that retard troll thread. :colbert:

People in that other thread corrected him and he quickly said "must have been XBOX 360 then."

shit just got real

hilarious that his made up story this time used xbox360's instead of ps3's.

Jesus christ this board with a permanent post history & people cling to it like you. I barely even remember that 'office shooting' a thread SEVEN years ago. It must've been a real boring day at work to create an obvious troll thread.

As for the Bioshock focus group story, that too was shared seven years ago originally. I apologize if I shared it again today SEVEN years later (prompted by someone mentioning Bioshock in gaming thread).

It evidently is one of my favorite 'life experience' to share, especially to a tech forum which enjoys gaming. I apologize if every single minute details don't line up.

Next time I participate in Bioshock ULTRON focus group, I'll be sure to bring a fvcking ruler and measure if the HDTVs were 30" or 35". Or 40", so when I recount the story SEVEN YEARS LATER, I don't get called out on it.

Goodness, this is like reddit. How do you guys even have energy to dig these up? Even *I* totally forgot about the office thread. It lit up some forgotten memory cells in my brain. Holy hell- you are scaring me.

I'd be confused between a PS3 and a Xbox 360. I've never owned one and the cumulative time I've spend with either system combined is < 30 minutes.

I have always head about Bioshock, but never played it. Now I have to look this up on YouTube. Back then I was playing GTA San Andreas, F.E.A.R and BF2.

OP, how did you manage to have another account? LOL

After my stupid(er) days, mods graced me with leniency when they ultimately concluded that I'm just a harmless noob.

I can see enough correlation between your stories to believe it happened in one way or another. As I have already said though, your bluring of fact and fiction (ignoring the shooting thread) means anything you say "happened" to you from now on gets filed in the take with a pinch of salt bin.

I thought your posting style was familiar. Good to know you didn't die in that office shooting.

That was unexpected. Your memory skills are awesome. Crazy people shoot into buildings sometimes and it doesnt always make the news, I worked in one when it happened but after about an hour the novelty of a near death experience wore off and we went back to work (this was probably 1992 or so when Anand was still in pampers).

We called the cops, they took a report and left. The end. Never did find out who did it.

As far as EMC2, welcome back, I guess. :whiste:

Posted some proof because why not, see OP. What's up now, Puppies04? 😉

Of course you are free to take my posting as any level of fiction. That you should practice for every posters here, not just me.
