If America actually elects this guy president, there is something very very wrong with it's people.
And I cannot imagine there any true morals or obligation to God and country or self respect remaining within it's borders.

They keep putting up un-electable candidates because the base cant even remotely tolerate a moderate ones. !/2 hte party hated McCain and Romney too. They need to change or they will never win another national election. Even with an opponent that is s proven liar and is highly unlikable like Hilary they cant win. They will never win as long as they keep pushing the anti-minority, anti-woman, anti-gay agenda's. Get over it. The country is a melting pot of different cultures, abortion will always be legal, and gays can marry. You guys need to move past that stuff and focus on real issues like the economy, where reps are strong.

Can't focus on the economy because their corporate masters have already bought the vote for that, all that is left is social issues like gay marriage abortion, etc. that differentiates republicans from democrats and provides the illusion of choice to the "little people" .

True enough... But cutting spending is still an option. The dems seem too wiling to spend our money like there is no tomorrow... We wont get a rep into the WH because they are far to concerned with what two gay men do in their bedroom at night to be focusing on running a country. LOL

It doesn't explain Clinton's pledge to raise her own taxes & those of the rest of the financial elite, either.

All "cutting spending" means in reality is cutting government services for the majority of Americans, namely the poor and middle class. The rich don't care because they can afford to buy private security and private education for their kids. "Cutting spending" sounds good to intellectual lightweights though so they're duped into voting against their own best interests.

There's a thing called the "shy Tory factor" where people in the UK are too embarrassed / worried about being branded a bad person to admit voting Conservative to even pollsters, but definitely vote that way at the voting station. I think some amount of that will be a factor, though at this point I mentally can't imagine Mr. Trump winning.

Trump does a wonderful job of appealing to the ugliest part of our nature.

The moment Sanders lost the nomination I decided there was no way I would vote in this election. Clinton's necon foreign policy and her long and profitable relationship with huge powerful oligarchical interest groups prevent me from pulling the lever for her. Both of those issues are in the top 3 for me and she is on the wrong end of both of them. I do realize that she is the only rational person in this race and it is a bloody shame that I disagree with her so vehemently on what I consider to be critical issues.
