The part that gets me is:

"NCAA rules state that a player must complete six credit hours of course work in the first semester to be eligible."

6 hours? This kid can't pass two classes? Yet he gets a free ride through college. Not that I have a problem with that. It just bugs me that he doesn't take advantage of it.

A few years ago, a friend of mine here had a class with Chris Simms. He said that Chris only showed up for class on one day...the day of the final exam. He brought with him a pen and a sheet of notebook paper, and yes, it was an essay exam.
