Just 5 minutes ago I thought about my cap and decided to check it. Before July I never had internet with a cap. Now with Comcast, I have 250GB. It was that or AT&T DSL/U-verse which also has a 250GB cap.

Of course I'm only a couple of days into the billing cycle but last month I used it a full month and I only used 45 GB. A while back, though I didn't have a cap, I used Netlimiter 2 Monitor and tracked my usage for several months. I averaged around 80GB/month down, and that was with a ton of streaming video on Youtube and such and I was unemployed at the time.

get teksavvy

Teksavvy looks decent. I just moved out to Toronto from Vancouver and am looking at getting them for my new place (when I get one... guh). I'm really missing shaw right now.

50/3 400 gigs for something like $50/mo

250/15 unlimited for $119/mo.

I don't worry about caps because I can't find anything even remotely interesting to download.

$29.95 is for first 6 months promotion.
$59 bundle price (this is what I got)
$74 stand alone price.

I'm thinking of trying out broad band 100 download and 5 up for $69 bundle price to see if there is any different on surfing speed.

There is a small increase speed between 25/2.5 than 50/3.

Email, web browsing, chat, gaming, torrents... it adds up.

I'm glad I don't have a cap, though TBH I don't actually use all that much, but at least I know I don't have to worry about always keeping an eye on it.

I know you torrent stuff and download high quality movies, but how do you have time to dl/watch all that. Seems like a lot. Unless its 20-40gb blu-ray files.

every few weeks I'm in a hotel all week for work, except I only have to work like 5 hours each day, so I have like 40-50 hours that week to watch movies and TV, so it goes pretty fast
