Now THIS is cold!!

As I read this thread, we're having our "early spring" here...highs near 70 again today. Of course, it won't last. By next week we'll probably be back into the mid-50's...
(we lived many years in the Rockies, including 2 winters in western Wyoming, near the town of Big Piney...that PROUDLY advertises itself as "The Icebox of the Nation.

Nowadays, I start bitchin about the cold when it gets below 50...

Woohoo!! Alaska is finally warming up! Anchorage is sitting at -17°, and the coldest place in the state is currently -53°! And Tok, which had the -73° last week, is now a toasty -36°.

I would still take this weather over the 70-80° nonsense. I don't like warmth. I'm totally a cold-weather nut.

I was still getting readings of -47F today, while at the time the reports were saying lows of -30F. Global warming=fail. If someone has some global warming they don't want, send it here please.

Hm, even here in good ol' Michigan it's been 2 degrees F, with winds gusting to 50MPH for average wind chills of -23... I've been staying inside.
