Now this is a national-anthem singer with presence.

Hmm. I don't know what it's supposed to sound like, so I don't know if that was a good/bad performance or not. :D

I don't know how it goes for you guys up there, but I'm pretty sure most American's don't want to hear every singer's butchering-er, rendition.. of the national anthem. Seriously, it's horrible.. lol

Edit:

I'm pretty sure I could watch her walk out onto the ice all day long, though(0:13 - 0:20). :awe:

Ugh, their anthem mentions God in it. I thought Canada was better than that.

Well, the American Pledge of Allegiance has God in it.

Actually, the Korean national anthem has God in it too. Though I'm not sure if its referring to the Judeo-Christian God, or God as a general term for almighty being.

I see that Canadians care about the Canadian national anthem about as much as Americans

They cheer during the Anthem? And use horns?

Maybe that happens here in America too, I dunno... but most usually fall silent, listen, and stare at the flag.

It was the last game and they were losing their team to another city. My guess is they were cheering the team and its faithful singer (she also made television commercials for the team AFAIK).
