Not really, not anymore. I've lost interest in the iPhone. It's very clear that Apple's marketing strategy is to incrementally add features that should've been in 1.0, and every once in a while refresh the hardware and require that you buy a new phone to get the new features. That's distasteful enough to me that I'm no longer interested in having one. I mean, for the cost, you still can't tether, cut and paste isn't there yet, and most of all, it's locked to AT&T. I'm not the most pragmatic person, but even I cant justify throwing money at the constantly moving iPhone target.
As far as their other hardware goes, I'm moderately interested. I love my Macbook, and have no regret over the cost, but at the same time I don't perceive a ton of value in it. Not enough to make me want to buy a desktop model. The mini is semi-interesting, but if there was a model that had a 2nd HD bay and didn't take/use laptop components, I'd be much more interested. Basically, a headless iMac with a 2nd HD bay, that's all I want. Hell, I'd probably compromise and buy a mini if they'd just put an eSata port on the damn thing.
My fiancee has a first gen iPhone, and I have a 2G touch and a unibody Macbook. I'm impressed, but not to the level that I think I'm getting a great value in these products. I'll probably stick to a purchase here and there when they take a big leap, like the Macbook getting an all-metal, one-piece chassis. Their evolutionary products are of very little interest to me b/c of the lack of value in the purchase.
