Corky, you'd honestly consider buying a sony or noink when you've already got that much canon gear? I can't ever imagine having two different camera systems. Whenever I have to use the D80 at work I get confused trying to figure out the controls.

went from the Canon XTi to the Canon 5D (had this for about a week and a half) to the Panasonic DMC-L1, to now the Nikon D300. the Panasonic DMC-L1 was actually kind of cool because it had a really awesome looking body, shutter dial, and an aperture ring, which made me feel like it was one of those classic cameras. Then you have the Leica lens, which has incredible quality paired with a decent live view mode. When I jumped to D300, I was happy with my one and only 18-135mm. Then aquired the Sigma 10-20mm, and later the 70-200 f/2.8 VR. But now, I'm lusting over FF bodies. I was originally gonna sell it for the D700, but now, canon might have something special up their sleeves... or maybe not... who knows.

was browsing the Canon & Nikon FF forums over at DPReview the other day just to see what reaction was like to the Sony FF & 1 guy (Canon user iirc) mentioned that he had always kept 1 Minolta/Sony body purely to use 1 lens unique to the Minolta system, the 135STF. A no. of others are of course potentially interested in the combo of a high res FF sensor with Zeiss glass.
& from what else I've read most pros don't mind swapping/buying different gear if it does the job & pays for itself.
