I am trying to decide whether to keep my iMac or sell it. It is still good for making DVD movies however I don't really use it that much for that feature. Hmm. I already have 4 other computers (one desktop, two laptops and wifes computer). I think I should probably sell the iMac.
Now that iTunes is out for Windows.....

Well, if you don't have too big of a use and if it has a high resale value (in the case of the new lamp-ish imacs), you could resell it.

Well, I installed it (and Mozilla just before it). It's gonna take some getting used to I think but so far it's not too bad. I'm really accustomed to Winamp 2.x after years of using it.

Well, it's made for iPod. That alone is good enough for Window users who had to suffer using MusicMatch or somewhat better Ephpod for their iPod.
It also has AAC support and also rips and encode CDs. Also has iTunes store which I could care less about. AAC and iPod sync are good enough reasons for me.
Ok, can some one tell me this? Is iTunes for Windows the same as iTunes for Mac? Because if it is, I'll be downloading it tonight. iTunes for Mac rocks, I used it at school once to burn some music and I could clearly tell that iTunes was much more superior at encoding MP3's and WAV files. My music sounded much better with iTunes, unlike the other programs, which I've used for Windows.

that is purely subjective. it's encoded at 128bit AAC, which is supposedly like 160kbit MP3.... regardless.. my ears aren't the best, so i'm happy with it... heh.. 160kbit would have been nice tho.
the radio feature of itunes is better though less stations than the radio feature of windows media player
and itunes has less clutter than windows media player
though none of these apps allow you to mod the original files while you are playing them
so you just cant rename or delete a file when its in its library
