for all of you people still in high school... it gets WAY better. high school years were honestly some of the worst of my life. College is sooo much better

But I did get some of the best advice I've ever received in HS:

"You can get away with a lot if you have good grades."

College rocks, btw.

That's true... I didn't do too much crap in HS, but I did always get the benefit of the doubt because of my grades.

Well that's good to hear. My highschool experience has been dismal to say the least but it's over in May. And yes, I have good grades 🙂

my high school was great. Being at a jc kinda sucks, only because all my real friends left for college. But honestly, I go to school 10 hours a week. I spend about 3 hours a week tops studying/doing homework/anything school related, and have a 3.7 gpa.

Scary thing is, once I get to real college, i'm probably gonna be fvcked

I like JC more than I liked being at University. The professors actually seem to care here at the JC. Maybe it's just our strong science department, but I have a good feeling about the school I'm in.

That's the lousy piece of advice I got in HS...

oh yeah there's no question about that. Without the hands on teaching from my accounting professor at my JC, there's probably no way i'd even know I want to be an accountant. I've seen the type of mindless work and random multiple choice crap that most university professor give in their beginning accounting classes and i'm happy that didn't happen to me.

In a typical class of 30 at my JC, i'd say there are about 5-7 real students in the class, then about 10-15 students that will end up transfering but dont give a fvck, and then a good 1/3 of the class never shows up and will probably drop out of school altogether within the next few years. Most of my professors (or teachers) can see who actually cares and usually caters to that students needs.

That's how my school is.

My Chemistry class went from 35 at the start to about 20 at midterm to like 9 now.

Apparently 50% of those taking Chem 1 are failing it. :Q

Woooow. You finally got to sit next to REAL GURL! :Q Duder, you are COOL. Yep, college must be way better for you little pimple farmers. 😀

Wait until you enter the real, working world and get to have an affair w/the hot, married chick in your office. 😀 Then, only THEN does it "get better."
