Do you think we will see some better WIn2k drivers if lets say Asus starts making these cards?? think those drivers would work with my ATI card?

ATI's Win2k drivers are great now. I'm running with 100% stability on my box...and it's got a VIA chipset. My Geforce2 MX couldn't run reliably at AGP4x but my AIW Radeon does. Asus will likely just ship ATI drivers with an Asus logo in the GUI parts.

Unless Asus varies from Ati's "Reference" design/board layout, I don't think the'll bother building their own drivers.

That's got to be a lot of extra work.

What good are the drivers stability if they are underperforming in 2k as to 9x. Its fine and dandy to have the card stable but if the performance is lacking in 2k then its a waste of time.

You could reverse that argument and have the same valid conclusion, as in: what good is a few extra fps when my games play excellent in Win2k anyway, I don't dual boot, spend 100% of my computing time in Win2k. Its not all about the absolute fastest framerate, especially if gaming isn't your only use for your computer.

EnragedPC, try the 3132 drivers. Those so far have been the best of the betas for me.
