Primary is the hearing aid implication
My single biggest daily use of 3D Touch has to be when typing messages. Press into the keyboard to invoke the cursor, and you can move it around by moving your finger (you don't have to keep pressing once the cursor pops), then press again with the cursor on a word, and it will put you into text selection mode. Seriously, use it every.day.Grab some heat shrink tubing and a couple of dongles, attach the dongle to your headphones with heat shrink tubing.
I'm liking my 7+ quite a bit, the camera is sweet.
The home button still feels strange, but I use an iPad quite a bit, so am always transitioning. I'm not unhappy, but it sure feels different.
Mine has the "whine" but I have to hold it against my ear to hear it.
3D Touch is still sort of odd, I don't use it much at all.
Settings > Messages, confirm that MMS and Group Messaging are both ON?Thanks for the heads up on the 3D touch in messaging. I'll use that all the time.
Instead of starting a new thread I did want to mention an issue I'm having just to see if anyone knows a quick fix.
For whatever reason, I am no longer receiving Android text responses in group messaging. Is there some setting I need to activate on this phone that may have been turned on in the other? Was not having this issue with my 6.
