now over 10 1/2 months into 2005 tell me,

in july my ex got a job in nebraska, about 800 miles away - needless to say we lasted 3 very rough months before it was over
 
took up a job i shouldnt have,, 3 months later i found another job which pays more and is the kind of work I like

Well, I got lazy and too secure with my grades so in Algebra 2 I pulled Bs both semesters and it dropped me from my rank of one. I figured it was okay to get a B in Algebra 2 because I figured I'd do the same in pre-cal, but here I am with a 95% after one semester of pre-cal and currently have a 98% in the second semester, with only 5 weeks of it left. The person who dropped me from number one is also the girl I've been interested in for the past couple years and at the beginning of 2005 things between us were really starting to take off, but as of right now there's nothing at all. Just mind games and letdowns, and I think I'm starting to finally move on (for the 15th time).
 
emergency appendectomy at 6am on a Sunday morning on September 11, in a small-town hospital. Starting about 2am (4 hours earlier) I woke up writhing in pain and by 5am I had a 100f temp. 515 I was getting a cat scan, 530am the doc had the ole rubber glove on checking my oil, 545 I was in the preop, 6am on the dot I went under. 24 hrs in the hospital for observation, it was done laproscopically.

The surgeons doing it said the examination of the appendix indicated a burst most likely would have happened within 12 hours, greatly complicating things.

I was back riding roller coasters 3 weeks later. 🙂

My truck broke down after I ran over my dog on the way to the train station to stop my woman from leaving me for another man.
 
Ok, here we go....

Went on vacation. During this time, wife quit her job.
Wife found new job.
Wife had mental breakdown, once again quit her job only weeks after starting.
Went -560 on the bank account due to loss of income and a clerical error on my part.
Passed over for promotion (Again).
Dishwasher broke.
Washing machine broke.
Exterior trim peice fell off door of car.

Thats all I can think of right now. I may edit it later on with more fun fantastic stuff from 05.
Yes, 05 has sucked balls.

oh man, the pain. wow. That 10mg or so of morphine quieted me down before preop.

Well, I try to make the small stuff seem like the worst so that life seems better than it might be. Mind games of my own I suppose. I got strep throat and it ruined my baseball season last season, couldn't play at all. Around the same time I was in constant arguments with my parents. Also, I'm a very competitive person so when I was no longer number one I felt disappointment in myself and things started to seem like they were falling apart. I dunno, it's been worse than math, but I've gotten over it. Math is the only thing apart from relationship troubles that have had a long-term effect so far.

I honestly can't complain about much, because I know that there are at least 100 million people in the world living a life much worse than mine. At some point since 2005 started I learned how to sack up a little better.

The vacation was good, yes. Things started to go downhill once we got back home though.
 
Intermittent episodes of kidney stone pain (every few weeks for most of the year), requiring more than one visit to the emergency room when I was in so much pain I just wanted to be put out of my misery. That's about it, I suppose 😛
