just got a call from what seemed to be a telemarketer. it showed up as marketing decisions on my caller id but the guy said he was just taking a survey and it was no way a sales call. i said i didn't want to participate and he hung up.

no trying to get me to do it, no pleading or begging. just a *click*.

FTR, a telesurveyor and a telemarketer are two different things. 😉

well, he said he wasn't a sales guy, but the ID came up as marketing decisions. i guess it still could be a telesurveyor, but from experience, they don't tend to hang up easily either.

well 'marketing decisions', to me, sounds like a market survey group. 😛 probably trying to survey on current interests in some assorted niche of the marketplace. 😉

you're lucky i get 4 calls everyday at different hours from this number: 800-955-6600 on my cellphone. I'd think they stop if I don't answer. (which they did during the holidays, but just started again 2 days ago). mofo, I put my number on the do-not-call list, didn't work.
