Well, depends on the car... in some cars autos actually drive the value DOWN. ie Supra TT or DSMs. Most people don't like sports cars or sports coupes/sedans with autos.

Desire not retail value though.

Or mess around with your GF while stuck in stop and go traffic.. too much worrying about your "stick" would spoil the fun hehe 😉


But in all seriousness I owned both an auto and a manual (just sold).. for everyday driving, bad weather like snow, being able to start the car even with a dead battery, and just for having fun I loved the standard.. but for going to work and anything in between autos own so I'll keep my auto.. they each have their pros and cons.. I be sticking with my auto till I get an actual sports car..
