Now have a invalid cdr/rw drive

Ok here is the deal. I have a sony 140e cdr/rw drive, pioneer 16x dvd drive, two maxtor 60g hard drives. Everything worked fine with all of the drives running off of the motherboard ide controllers (IWILL KK266). I installed a promise ata100 controller card to put the two cd drives on seperate controllers for a faster on the fly recording speed so I would not get buffer errors. I still have the sony cdr drive on the motherboard controller, the pioneer on the promise controller. Now that I have it set up that way adaptec ez cd creator, direct cd reports I have a non supported cdr drive. Any ideas for a fix????????????????

Any Ideas anyone????????????????????? I already installed all of the updates from roxio and still no good....................HELP I really don't want to take out the promise controller card.

Try to re-install the CD Creator S/W.

I have to do this every couple of times that one of the kids installs something on their system.
